標準的なルートは（A）つくばエクスプレス＋関東鉄道路線バスです。
バスについては、構内にいくつかバス停がございますので、下記、大学構内バス停からの案内図をご参照ください。
- (A) つくばエクスプレス＋ 関東鉄道路線バス
- 「秋葉原」駅からつくばエクスプレス線で「つくば」行きに乗車し終点にて下車。
※ 快速電車で約45分。
A4出口から地上バスターミナルの6番乗り場に出て、関東鉄道路線バスに乗換。
※ バスには右回りと左回りがあります。
「筑波大学循環（右回り）」または「筑波大学中央」行に乗車した場合、「第一エリア前」下車。
「筑波大学循環（左回り）」に乗車した場合、「松見池」で下車。
※ いずれも所要約20分。
つくばエクスプレス線時刻表・関東鉄道バス時刻表（つくば駅発、PDF） - (B) 常磐道高速バス「つくば号」
- 「東京駅八重洲中央口または南口」前・JRハイウェイバスターミナル2番乗り場より、常磐道高速バス「つくば号」の「筑波大学」行に乗車し、終点「筑波大学」（本部棟前）で下車。
※ 所要約75分ですが渋滞で遅れる場合あり。また「第一エリア前」は停車しません。 - (C) JR常磐線＋関東鉄道路線バス
- 「上野」駅からJR 常磐線快速電車に乗車し、「土浦」駅で下車。※ 所要約70分。
西口バスターミナル2 番乗り場関東鉄道路線バスに乗換。
「筑波大学中央」行に乗車し、「第一エリア前」で下車。※ 所要約40分。
つくばエクスプレス線つくば駅からのご案内
つくばエクスプレスで来られる方へ、つくば駅からのご案内です。
つくば駅から本学までは約4kmあります。バスかタクシーでお越し下さい。
大学構内バス停からの案内図
筑波大学の構内にはいくつかのバス停がございます。
「筑波大学循環（右回り）」または「筑波大学中央」行に乗車した場合、「第一エリア前」下車。
「筑波大学循環（左回り）」に乗車した場合、「松見池」で下車。
その後、案内図に従い構内歩道を進み、図書館前の橋を上がったところが人文学類のある第一エリアです。

Major Access Routes
Here, we present a traffic map as well as several major routes to the university.
The standard route is (A) Tsukuba Express + Kanto Railway Route Bus.
There are several bus stops on campus, so please see the map below.
- (A) Tsukuba Express + Kanto Railway Route Bus
- Take the Tsukuba Express Line bound for Tsukuba from Akihabara Station and get off at the last stop.
* Takes about 45 minutes by rapid train.
From Exit A4, head to platform 6 of the aboveground bus terminal and transfer to the Kanto Railway Route Bus.
* There are two bus routes, clockwise and counterclockwise.
When taking either the University of Tsukuba Loop Bus (Clockwise) or the bus bound for Tsukuba Daigaku Chuo, get off at Daichi-Area-mae.
When taking the University of Tsukuba Loop Bus (Counterclockwise), get off at Matsumi-ike.
* Either takes about 20 minutes.
Tsukuba Express Timetable & Kanto Railway Bus Timetable (From Tsukuba Station, PDF)・Tsukuba Express Timetable & Kanto Railway Bus Timetable (From Tsukuba Station, PDF) - (B) Joban Expressway Bus “Tsukuba-go”
- Take the Joban Expressway Bus “Tsukuba-go” bound for the Tsukuba Daigaku from JR Highway Bus Terminal 2 in front of the Yaesu Central Exit or South Exit of Tokyo Station, then get off at the last stop, Tsukuba Daigaku (in front of the main building).
* Takes about 75 minutes, but may take longer due to traffic. Note that the bus does not stop at Daiichi Area-Mae. - (C) JR Joban Line + Kanto Railway Route Bus
- Take the JR Joban Line Rapid Train from Ueno Station and get off at Tsuchiura Station. *Takes about 70 minutes.
Change to the Kanto Railway Route Bus at West Gate Bus Terminal 2.
Take the bus bound for Tsukuba Daigaku Chuo and get off at Daiichi Area-Mae. *Takes about 40 minutes.
Directions from Tsukuba Station Using the Tsukuba Express Line
These are directions from Tsukuba Station for those taking the Tsukuba Express Line.
It is about 4 km from Tsukuba Station to the University. Please come by bus or taxi.

There are several bus stops on the University of Tsukuba campus.
When taking either the University of Tsukuba Loop Bus (Clockwise) or the bus bound for Tsukuba Daigaku Chuo, get off at Daichi-Area-mae.
When taking the University of Tsukuba Loop Bus (Counterclockwise), get off at Matsumi-ike.
Then follow the map and go down the campus walkway, go up the bridge in front of the library, and you will see Area 1 (Daiichi Area) of the College of Humanities.
